PRODUCT – The post base round, also known as a ground socket, is suitable for fastening or dowelling round posts and round fence posts. It is ideal for timber constructions up to 1.50 m, providing a stable and durable foundation for your outdoor projects.
FEATURES – Installation is quick and easy as the post support on the plate is dowelled or screwed onto the ground. The post base bracket secures the post sleeve to the ground through the pre-drilled holes in the base plate. To secure the post in the sleeve, parallel pre-drilled holes on the sleeve walls ensure a solid fit, perfect for round post support bases.
USABILITY – A stable base, such as a concrete foundation, is required for proper installation. The post should not rest on the bottom of the sleeve to prevent moisture penetration. Adequate under-ventilation is crucial for long-lasting durability, especially when using round post holders.
VERSATILITY – The post base is available in the following hull sizes: 81 mm, 101 mm, 121 mm. The hot-dip galvanisation protects the round post supports from external weather influences, ensuring longevity in outdoor environments.
